We can’t deny the immense power of internet and social media in our lives.

As more and more businesses are looking to tap into online presence, it is important to remember that all your business details should be consistent across the various platforms. This will help you find new customers, form valuable partnerships and build a solid foundation for marketing strategies. Here are some business growth secrets that will get you on the right track.

Understanding SEO Helps You Understand the Why

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the world of SEO, you’re not alone. It can be difficult to understand all the things your business should be doing to gain an advantage over your competition online. However, by taking the time to learn about SEO, you’ll be able to better understand the “why” behind many of the decisions you make regarding your website.

– What is SEO?

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of improving the ranking of a website on search engines. The higher the ranking, the more likely people are to find the website. When they find the website, they can visit it and view the content.

There are several types of SEO. They include technical SEO, link building, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO. The primary goal is to improve rankings in search engines.

Google is king when it comes to search engine optimization. Why? It has more than 65% of the market share.

– What are the benefits of SEO?

Search Engine Optimization, or “SEO” for short, is a technique that can be used on a website to improve site visibility amongst search engines. The benefits of SEO include increased web traffic, improved brand awareness, and increased sales or leads. The term “search engine optimization” refers to the process of improving a website’s visibility in search engines via natural (organic) or un-paid (“free”) listings.

Because of Google’s Penguin and Panda updates, White Hat SEO tactics are all about creating quality content that your audience will love and find useful.

– What are the most important aspects of SEO?

The most critical aspects of SEO are making sure your website is easy to find and navigate, and making sure your website content is interesting and relevant to your target audience. The latter is often overlooked by webmasters and has a much greater effect on your search engine rankings than the former.

We’ve found the best way to achieve the former is through the use of effective tags, with an emphasis on the keyword tags. It’s important to realize that keyword tags are a form of metadata which allow search engines like Google and Bing to index your site and categorize it for relevancy.

– How can I learn more about SEO?

It’s a way to make sure your website appears as high as possible in search engine results pages (SERPs), so that more people will see it and potentially visit your site. There are many things you can do to improve your SEO, and there are many resources available to help you learn more about it, just like this blog or contacting traffic experts like Trebl Digital.

– What should I do if I’m feeling overwhelmed by SEO?

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by SEO, don’t worry! You can take some steps to make the process a little easier. First, learn as much as you can about SEO and what techniques work best for your website. Next, use tools like Google Analytics to track your website’s progress and see where you need to make improvements. Finally, don’t be afraid to ask for help from experts or other SEO professionals. Additionally, you can try to break it down into smaller steps. You can also try to find someone who can help you with SEO.

– What are some common misconceptions about SEO?

There are a lot of misconceptions about SEO. Some people think that you can just put a few keywords on your website and you’ll magically start ranking at the top of Google. Others think that you need to do a lot of shady things in order to rank well. But the truth is that SEO is all about creating a good user experience and providing valuable content. If you do that, you’ll start to see your rankings improve over time.

– What are some tips for staying up-to-date on SEO?
There are a number of tips for staying up-to-date on SEO, including keeping track of Google’s algorithm changes, using keyword research, and publishing high-quality content. Other ways of staying up-to-date on SEO are to read blogs and articles about SEO, follow people who are experts in SEO on social media, and attend conferences or webinars about SEO.

How SEO Can Help Your Business Grow

Search engine optimization is one of the best ways to create a business that grows and becomes successful. Every day, millions of searches are made online by people all over the world, and each time someone wants an answer or information regarding any subject matter. If your website is in the top 10 search results for that specific query, you have already won half of your battle for success. To grow your business, find a way to stand out from competition through proper keyword research and content creation, and it’ll bring you immense success.

Nail down the basics of SEO and stay on top of all the changes that affect your business, so you can be ready to market your business online, generating new leads and bringing in new customers.

In today’s world if you don’t have an online presence and aren’t keeping up with marketing trends, SEO and adding valuable content your business growth will be limited at the very least and worst case scenario will fail. If you aren’t keeping up with these basic things for your business, it’s time to get back on track and start focusing on what matters.

You need to do more than just try to have a monopoly over your local area. You need to build strong relationships with other businesses in your community. Build those business relationships through networking events and social media.

When should you start thinking about SEO?

Don’t wait until the last minute!

What is SEO, and How Does it Work?

SEO, the process of improving your website’s rankings on Google, has become more complicated in recent years. To successfully grow any business that works as an online brand, you need to have a good understanding of online presence, SEO, search engine optimization, and other related processes. For example, keywords are no longer what they used to be, content management is crucial for gathering backlinks, and off-page reputation management is just as important as on-page SEO nowadays.

The Importance of SEO and How to Optimize Your Website

The way you run your website makes a lot of difference in how successful your business will be. To optimize your website, you need to remember two essential things: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. On-page SEO means all the things you do in your web pages, to increase the relevancy of the search engine results like readability, optimization of words, images and links that exist in your site; while off-page SEO means optimizing backlinks from social media networks, citations, site speed.

If you want to optimize your website, start by doing some keyword research. Find out which keywords are relevant to your site and use them throughout your content, including in your image descriptions, header tags, alt tags, and url slugs.

So you have started your business and made sure that the content of your website is relevant to your niche. But are you getting any clients? Are there so many competitors in your niche that people can’t find your website with Google, Yahoo or Bing? To grow a successful digital coaching business, rank high in search engines and grab clients before your competitor does it.

Your domain ranking or the reputation of your business online is much like your credit score. Replace the three credit bureaus with Google, Bing, and Yahoo and your credit score with your search engine ranking, and you can begin to see how essential it is to know, maintain and improve your ranking. Much like your credit score, your rankings are calculated based on many factors, including relevance, traffic, usability, and much more which we cover in depth in this article(Coming Soon). Though there are a few other search engines out there, these three make up roughly 96 percent of all internet searches worldwide.

Unlike your credit score which is based off of your reputation as a whole, your search engine ranking is based off of each search term from single words and phrases to “long tail keywords” that are much more specific phrases or even full sentences. For example, if you were trying to find out how to start freelancing you may search for “freelancing”, but you could also search for “how to start freelancing” or even “How to start freelancing from home with accounting skills”. Your domain could rank differently for each of these keywords, landing you on the 3rd page of google and 2nd page of Bing when someone searches for “freelancing” but be in the top 3 results for “How to start freelancing from home with accounting skills”. As you can see, search terms are limitless. This is why it is imperative to start with keyword research to figure out what search terms you are currently ranking well for, discover search terms that your ideal customers would be searching for and to optimize your site for relevant keywords to your particular business.

The way you run your website makes a lot of difference in how successful your business will be. What keywords are they typing on search engines? Do in-depth keyword research to find out all relevant information and long tail keywords that will get a high volume of visits from niche targeted users online.

For each keyword or phrase look at the monthly volume and the competition to see who else is trying to rank for the same keywords as well as the geographic region (if your business serves a specific area). Depending on your business model you may want to focus more heavily on local seo or general seo.

When you know what the answer is, then you can figure out how to design your website to maximize the positive impact on your seo and minimize the negative impact.

As in any business, you need to make sure that you are getting more bang for your buck. In internet marketing, this means that you want to be able to get as many clicks to your site for as little investment as possible. Otherwise, you will be paying for those clicks which is a topic in itself that we cover in how to use PPC the smart way(Coming Soon).

How Can My Business Start Optimizing Its Website?

Building a business comes down to increasing your sales and finding great clients that want what you have. You need to know the strengths and weaknesses of your website so that you can take action and make the necessary changes in order to build up an online presence. A technical SEO audit can help you identify these details, so in this video we discuss how to understand this audit and what kind of fixes to put into place.

Organic Search is Most Often the Primary Source of Website Traffic

Think of your webpage as a virtual restaurant. Where will people go when they look for the type of foods you serve? If no one comes to your page, it’s like nobody knows about your restaurant and people won’t be coming to eat at your place anymore. You need to create content so compelling that your potential customers would at least check out your page. Organic search is important because this strategy takes into account how your web pages can rank well in organic search results.

Search engines provide a perfect opportunity for marketers to attract website traffic, but it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Organic search is the most effective traffic source for websites. Organic search accounts for 70% of global search engine traffic and over 90% of online customer research, according to a study by Google and Ipsos Connect.

Organic search drives more than three times the clicks of social media paid ads on average, according to Search Engine Land. Organic searches also produce higher conversion rates because they’re often higher in quality and more qualified than pay-per-click searches.

Organic search is the act of searching for something online without using a search engine. This type of search is typically conducted on a set of results that are relevant to the topic.

The number of clicks an organic result receives often determines its rank in the SERP. In order to optimize your organic rankings, you should take into account factors like relevance, visibility, and click-through rate.

These days, with so many websites competing for attention – it’s no longer just about being visible on page 1; you have to be compelling enough to get someone to click through on your page and stay there.

This means that a well-optimized website can be rewarded with higher rankings in search engine results.

New websites usually receive very few visitors from the organic search engine results and need to rely on paid advertising for traffic. Over time, a website will start to rank higher in the SERP because it has better content and more relevant links coming from other sites. Therefore, organic search is an important part of any marketing strategy.

Organic Search is one of the most effective ways of driving traffic to your site, but it takes time to build up your SEO ranking so that you are showing up on page one or two on Google’s SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages).

Engage on social media and add posts to Google My Business

When creating social media presence it is important to engage in the relevant communities. This will lead to getting your posts in front of the right people. People love to be engaged and when you look at engagement ratios keep in mind that sometimes a few hundred likes vs 1 like can be more impressive if 5x as many people took the time to see it or better yet react or comment on it. This shows they were drawn in by what they saw or read, instead of being ambivalent or unimpressed by your posts.

Engaging with your audience on social media can be difficult. Studies show that it takes some people as many as 18 hours each week to post, monitor and respond to their audience across so many social media platforms. But there is a way to automate your social media engagement and make it easier for you and your team.

Blog2Social is an automated content creator that allows you to run a drip campaign on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google My Business. You can customize the frequency of posts by day of the week or by hour of the day.

It also has a built in calendar for scheduling posts ahead of time so you never miss an opportunity when posting about something new on your business page.

Social media is a never ending platform that allows content to be distributed in the form of posts. To increase the number of followers, engage with the audience, and get their attention, a post should be unique and compelling to stand out from others. There are many ways to accomplish this goal: making posts consistant by repeating an idea or theme, engaging on social media consistently throughout the week and adding posts to Google My Business.

One of the most important tasks to be done by a business is to manage its online presence on social media. On Google My Business, businesses can create and publish posts with photos and video to tell their story.

If your business is using Blog2Social, then you can use the platform’s templates and posting program so that you can schedule content in advance. This will help your business stay up-to-date on social media without having to worry about posting updates manually or hiring an assistant for this task.

Pro Tip – Make sure to set up your UTM configurations, however you post on social media so that you can track where your traffic is coming from use that data to improve your social media tactics.

The Ultimate List 50 Online Local Business Directories – and Why they are crucial to your success.

Online local business directories are a wonderful resource when it comes to help get your online presence up and running.
Introduction- What is Online Presence?

keywords: online presence, web presence, business growth, seo, citation campaigns, social media presence, site traffic, website traffic, brick and mortar, increase revenue, greater opportunity, ideal clients

Online presence is the sum of all your online efforts to make your business visible to search engines and potential customers.

In order to have a good web presence, you need to do SEO on your site, create social media accounts, build backlinks and citation campaigns.

Running a business can be exhausting, and knowing all the little things you have to do in today’s world when modern buyers demands are higher than ever can be daunting.

The backbone of your business is your customers, and it’s important to be able to provide them with the best customer experience possible, while increasing your businesses reputation.

The internet has made it possible for people to experience things in a new way. Nowadays, the internet is not just about looking up recipes for cooking or information for school papers; it is a place where many people can have their own online presence which helps them grow their business.

Online presence is the company’s online identity that helps them to grow their business and increase revenue. It is important to keep the online presence updated and active.

Digital marketing trends have had a significant impact on our society, hence marketers should be more attentive about their efforts in order to maintain a healthy balance between brick and mortar as well as web-based marketing.

The first step to online presence is to create a web presence. This consists of a domain name and the creation of a website. The second step is to create a social media presence. Social media can help in business growth by increasing word-of-mouth marketing, which can lead to leaving customers, new leads and sales.

The third step is citation campaigns for company or business growth.

Citation campaign starts with the budgeting process, where you decide how much you are willing to invest in citations. There are various ways that you can use citations for business growth such as: blogging, guest posting and local mentions.

The fourth step is social media marketing that includes social media posts, ads, and promotional giveaways on Facebook and Instagram to increase brand awareness of your digital content or generate more

Why is Web Presence Important for Business Success?

keywords: website traffic, social media marketing, marketing strategy, right people right time right way,

With all the algorithms changes happening in the search engines for local business owners, it is important to get help from an expert in local seo, who can help with your local seo strategy to grow your business and get you the traffic you need.

Web presence is one of the most important factors for a successful business. It has an impact on increased traffic for websites, increased opportunity for the business, and increased revenue. The success of a business depends on the customers or clients and how they perceive your company. Web traffic is often perceived as a measurement of success by many people.

The number of likes and shares that you get on social media platforms are crucial in defining your online presence. This can help in building trust among your followers and it will be easier to convert them into paying customers.

The strategies adopted in web design and marketing can be significantly different based on the type of website or company you have.

A business’s website is a direct reflection of the company, and not to mention that it’s the first and most important connection point. The website is where customers learn about your service or product, and how they engage with your brand.

Web presence is something that has become very important in the past decade because of how much the Internet has grown. It helps businesses connect with new clients, and if done correctly, increase their revenue.

Web presence is important for business success because it is a key factor that affects your ability to generate revenue, grow your business, and increase social media exposure.

It has been proven that the more traffic you get on your site, the better chances you have of generating and maintaining higher income. Furthermore, if you can optimize your web presence to attract more visitors to sign up for your service or buy products from your store then you will gain leads and increase revenue.

In the digital age, many people are turning to the internet to find a product or service. So it’s imperative for businesses to establish a web presence that will drive traffic and build trust.

There are a number of ways in which businesses can increase their web presence:

– Optimize their website for search engines

– Create social media pages and engage with followers on these platforms

– Use SEO (search engine optimization) services to improve the visibility of their website in search results

Setting the Foundation for Your Website Traffic Growth Strategy

keywords: site traffic, website success) Your Website Traffic Goals & Marketing Tactics. Overview of Marketing Strategies to Drive Site Traffic Growth.

In this section, we will discuss the different types of marketing tactics which you can use to drive your site traffic and increase your business success.

If you’re looking for help with your website traffic goals and marketing tactics, then this article is for you. We’ll give you an overview of the different types of marketing strategies to drive site traffic and increase your website success and hopefully the overall success of your business.

In a world of hyper-competitiveness, it can be quite difficult to get your company’s name out. This is especially true if you’re a startup or small business. You will need to put in a lot of hard work from the beginning in order to get any sort of traction on the web. To make that happen, you have to have strong foundations which include search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing and product marketing.

This chapter will give you the basics on these three facets so that you can get started and set yourself up for success by making sure people are aware of your company!

Your growth strategy is the foundation of your business. The most high-level goals are typically the most important tasks that you need to focus on.

The ultimate goal of your strategy should be about growing your business, but there’s more to it than just that. You also need to consider what you want to accomplish with your company, how you want it to look and feel in five years, and how you want people to feel about what you do.

The problem with too many organizations is that their strategies are too broad and unfocused. They’ve got a bunch of ideas and goals but none of them stand out as the overarching purpose for their strategy.

This section will break down what is needed to have a good foundation for your website traffic growth strategy.

An important aspect of a good foundation is understanding the goals of your website and what you want visitors to do on it. The goals should be realistic, measurable and achievable in the short-term. These three things will give you an idea of what kind of growth strategy will work best for you.

1. Plan your marketing strategy from the ground up. If you don’t know what the target is your aim will inevitably be off.

keywords: web design, keyword research, market research, competition research, relevant content, modern buyers, buyers intent,

The foundation for any successful website traffic growth strategy is a well-planned marketing strategy.

The first step in putting together your plan is to define your goals and marketing tactics. Your goals should be SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely) and specific to the needs of your business.

After you have established these goals, it’s time to put together a plan that will achieve them. This includes not just the marketing tactics you will use, but also the content that you will produce and distribute on your site.

Developing a marketing strategy can be a difficult task because it includes working with specific targets, understanding their goals, and promoting their products.

But if you plan all your steps in the right way, your chances of success are very likely to increase.

There are four important aspects that you need to know to implement a successful marketing strategy with an emphasis on web design:

1. Accurate keyword research – Keywords play an important role in traffic growth and will guide bulk of your future content decisions; 2. Market studies – Understand the environment in which you do business and what your competition is doing; 3. Competition study – Analyzing the potential customers that are out there and identifying the good opportunities for you; 4. Relevant content- It is one thing to have quality SEO but it is the only thing that is going to bring users back time and time again.

A well-planned marketing strategy is the foundation for any successful web growth strategy. To create a cutting-edge marketplace that will be in demand, a website owner needs to know and understand the industry they are in. In today’s market, content is where most of your time should be spent, because data shows that 62% of all users will leave your website if there is nothing valuable to hold their attention.

2. Improve Web Design With Strategic Purpose, User Experience, and data driven choices.

keywords: web design, cms, website design, performance based web design, customer experience, Customer Journey

Web design is not just about making the site look good. It’s also about how fast it loads and how easy it is to navigate.

The first step in designing a website is to identify the customer’s journey, or their customer experience. Once you understand what your customer wants, you can then prioritize the design of your website with that in mind.

This section will teach a way to improve web design that is more strategic. It will touch on the following topics: keyword research, market research, competition research, relevant content, and buyer’s intent.

The best way to improve web design is through strategic decisions. This means making choices based on a) what is your goal for the website and b) who you want to actually get to your site.

The web is a form of media that continues to grow as a way to communicate with clients and customers. It’s not just about having a website anymore, it’s about the user experience and how your company meets those needs.

A website should be designed to provide the best customer experience possible in order to increase conversion rates. The goal is for users to engage with your content, products, and services in an effortless way.

If you want to be successful, you need to know what your buyer needs and how best to serve them. The first step is to do the research. Understanding your market is crucial for any modern business because it helps in creating long-term content strategies that will provide leads and customers for years to come.

3. Stay Fresh by Regularly Publishing New Content

Stay relevant and in the public eye by updating your website on a regular basis.

keywords: content marketing software, consistency, repurpose content, cross-platform content, relevant content, ideal client, Standard operating procedure, SOP, Consistency, cohesive brand image, consistency beats perfection, Pro tip: Use UTM Links

Content marketing is a very competitive space. The content we produce needs to be fresh, relevant, and engaging. It needs to be seen as valuable by the audience, and it should also be easy to read.

To stay fresh, we need to regularly publish new content that is relevant, engaging and valuable. We should repurpose our old content in different formats that are more suitable for our target audience. We should also make sure that we are publishing on all platforms, with the most appropriate content for each platform.

Content creation is a lot like a game of chess. You must be in constant competition with your competitors and always one step ahead. Each day, you are fighting to retain your foothold in the market and to get just a bit more exposure. It can be tiring, but if you have the right strategy, content campaign will not feel like work at all.

Content marketing is an ongoing pursuit of creating value for customers in formats that are most appealing to them. In this pursuit, it is necessary to stay relevant and in the public eye by regularly publishing new content on your website on a regular basis. With so many different online channels available today, it is difficult for marketers to keep up with every single one of them 24/7 365 days of the year. That’s why consistency is key for business success

To create and publish consistently, it is important to develop a system. This includes a content calendar that outlines topics to cover, target audience, preferred channel(s), and deadlines for completion. Most importantly, these systems need to include how you will repurpose your content for additional platforms without sacrificing any of its original essence.

A company’s content strategy should also take into consideration the segments of customers they are trying to reach with their marketing message- the ideal client. You should customize your messaging for the platform you are using so that it is clear who you are targeting or aiming for (i.e., millennials).

It is not just about creating content- it is about creating valuable, relevant, and engaging content on a consistent basis.

It is strongly recommended that you repurpose your old content on platforms other than your website.

For example, you can take some of the most popular and relevant content on your site and turn it into a shareable infographic or article on LinkedIn.

You should also speak about the latest trends in your niche industry when adding new content to your website in order to stay relevant and in the public eye.

The first step for staying relevant is to have a SOP, or an “editorial calendar” for all of your content. This way, you will have a clear idea of what topics need coverage and when they should be published.

When you publish new content, it should be as part of a cohesive brand image; this means that each piece of written work contributes to the overal perception of you and your business.

4. Develop Inbound Marketing Strategies To Build Your Brand

keywords: inbound marketing, inbound lead generation, out of the box thinking, customers perspective, end goal, benchmarks, planning.

Inbound marketing is an approach that focuses on bringing customers to the company. It is a strategy that relies heavily on digital marketing, content marketing, and social media. Inbound lead generation is about attracting the right prospects to your business and then converting them into leads.

The end goal of inbound marketing is to build a brand by attracting new customers and keep them coming back. This can be achieved by implementing inbound lead generation strategies that are based on customer’s perspective and benchmarks. There are also many planning tools available online to help you plan your campaigns better.

Inbound marketing is the future of marketing. It is one of the best way to build your brand and generate an inflow of leads. This post will provide an overview of inbound marketing strategies and how they are helping organizations in building their brands and generating leads through education.

Inbound lead generation indicates that organizations are focusing on creating high-quality content that solves problems, educates consumers and provides them with value.

The end goal of inbound marketing is to drive conversions from browsers to buyers by focusing on customer-centricity and marking through content, communication, personalization, search engine optimization (SEO)

Benchmarks for measuring success also help marketers to devise strategies for future growth

A quality inbound marketing strategy will help you grow your business.

It starts with developing a user-friendly website that provides the right content to attract people, offer them an experience, and get them to sign up for the call-to-action. After that stage, it is vital to build relationships with potential customers by providing them with helpful information they were not aware of before they met you.

The most successful companies are those that can show evidence of success and provide proof of their performance against benchmarks.

Inbound marketing is a process of attracting customers to your site through content marketing, social media and search engine optimization (SEO). In this type of marketing strategy, the company creates content that attracts customers which leads them directly to their products or services.

A successful inbound marketing strategy relies on being consistant when others aren’t.

Inbound marketing can be the most effective way to set your brand apart from the competition.

But it is not about spending millions of dollars on ads and promotion. It’s about building an online presence that attracts and converts prospects into customers without any extra effort from them.

5. Use Effective SEO Tactics To Increase Overall Search Engine Rankings

keywords: seo, site seo audit, local seo, on page seo, off page seo, keyword research, modern buyer, local seo expert, local map pack.

SEO is one of the most important aspects of a website. It helps to increase the visibility of your website in search engines and also helps you to rank higher on search engine results pages.

There are many SEO tactics that can be used to increase your website’s rankings. However, some SEO tactics work better than others depending on the type of industry you are in and what keywords you want to rank for.

The first step is keyword research. You need to find out what keywords your business should be targeting so that people will be able to find you more easily when they search for something related to your business.

In order to boost a website’s search engine ranking, one has to follow the best SEO practices. This includes not only on-site optimization, but also off-site optimization.

Off-site optimization includes techniques like link building, which includes strategies such as linkbacks and re-tweeting. In order to effectively build links, one must create quality content that is in demand. The quality of the content will determine how many people cite that content, and in turn will send traffic back to your website through the links they posted on their own websites.

One way to find out what topics are trending is by using a keyword research tool. This tool provides information about which keywords are related to your niche and how competitive those keywords are for search engines. It also shows you which keywords have high search

The success of a website depends on many factors. One of the things that can help you rank higher in search engine results is through the use of SEO tactics.

The world is changing, and so do the way people search for information. Today, they rely more on the internet to find products, services and answers to questions. It’s not enough to have a website that looks nice and has good content – you need to have a website that ranks high on search engine results pages (SERPs) when people search for keywords related to your business.

There are three main aspects of SEO: On-page optimization, Off-page optimization, and keyword research. They all play an important role in your site’s rankings – so it’s important that you know how each of them can help you get there.

SEO is a complicated topic and any discussion about it will inevitably touch on many important aspects, so it may be worthwhile to break this section into subsections:

– Site SEO Audit

– Local SEO

– On Page Seo

– Off page seo

– Keyword Research

– Modern buyer expectations

6. Leverage Social Media Platforms to Increase Brand Awareness

keywords: social media marketing tools, social media management platform, social media calendar, Blog2social, hootsuite

SEO is the process of improving the visibility of a website in search engine results pages. This is done by on-page and off-page optimization.

It is important for your site to be optimized for search engines so that you can rank higher in the SERPs. When it comes to SEO strategy, there are many factors that you should take into consideration such as keyword research, on-page optimization, and off-page optimization.

With today’s modern buyer, it has become even more important for businesses to make sure that their websites are optimized for local SEO as well.

Social media is a powerful marketing tool for any business. It provides the opportunity to connect with followers, build relationships and increase awareness about your brand. But how do you know how to get started? In this blog post we’ll discuss how to use social media tools to increase your exposure and boost your engagement.

We’ve all heard the phrase “Content is king” but it doesn’t take much time on social media platforms before we realize that this statement isn’t really true. The people who are visible on social media are the ones who choose what they post or share, while content creators struggle in anonymity trying to reach their followers without much luck. But there are ways around this dilemma as new innovations in software and technology give brands more control over their presence on popular social media platforms.

Social media is a big topic and it’s very important to leverage it for marketing. That is why various social media marketing tools like the social media management platform, Blog2social, or Hootsuite are developed to help out and make life easier for marketers. One of the main functions of these tools is to help you post consistently on any number of platforms and schedule your posts in advance.

Social media marketing tools have become a necessity for any brand’s digital marketing strategy. These tools not only help brands become more visible but also create a more realistic interaction with their target audience.

Blog2social is a recently-launched social media management platform that helps businesses utilize the potential of blogging to increase engagement on social networks. It automates the process of syncing your blog content across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Pinterest which saves marketers valuable time and effort.

Gaining visibility on social media platforms has never been so easy with many online social media marketing tools available in the market today. You can find many innovative solutions like hootsuite and Blog2social which have transformed the way brands interact with their followers and manage their presence on various channels of social networks.

7. Utilize Local SEO Strategies That Work For You

keywords: local seo expert, local seo tactics, consistency is key, time block, batch work, keep it simple, easily repeatable, use a calendar, plan ahead, continual adjustments, local seo expert, local search engine optimization expert, business growth, traffic expert, smart practical easy to follow steps.

Local SEO is about locating the most relevant search engines for your business, and then optimizing your website for those search engines.

To do this, you need to find the keywords that people are using in their search on Google or any other search engine. This can be done by looking at what people are searching for in their area and then optimizing your website accordingly.

You should also use the keywords that are popular in your industry and location. These will help you rank higher on the local search engine results pages.

While there are many different strategies that can be used to optimize your website for search, the best way to optimize your site is to find a strategy that works for you and utilize it.

We cannot stress consistency enough when it comes to SEO. The more time you spend on this task, the better the result will be. This is why we suggest that you create a time block and dedicate it to optimizing your website for search. It’s also important that you batch work tasks together so that you don’t get overwhelmed with all the different things on your list at once.

It may seem as if there are several reasons why these strategies work, but in reality they don’t require much thought or effort in order to execute. All they need is some time, repetition, and intentionality.

Local SEO is a complicated process that can be difficult to get right. Local SEO strategies are combinations of different tactics, each with its own nuances.

The key to success is being able to identify the right strategy for your business and then executing on it consistently.

A good plan of attack includes time blocking out what you need to do, batch work, keep it simple, and making adjustments as needed.

If you want a quick way to start thinking about what local search strategies will work for you, consider the following: 1) What is the geographic area in which your business operates? 2) What are your company’s strengths? 3) What are your company’s weaknesses? 4) Who are your competitors in this market space? 5) How competitive is this market space? 6) What competitive advantages do your competition have?

SEO is a complicated process, made more difficult by the constant changes in Google’s algorithm. For those that don’t have a background in SEO, it can feel like you are constantly playing whack-a-mole. The best way to get started is to find a strategy that works for you.

The most important thing when it comes to SEO is consistency. It doesn’t matter which strategy you choose at first, as long as you stick with it and make adjustments throughout the year according to what’s working and what isn’t.

A good way to start your new SEO strategy is by blocking out time on your calendar for various tasks. Create detailed plans within these blocks of times so that you know exactly what needs to be done each week or month. These schedules can be changed over time, and will always be evolving.

Not sure about what, why or how to write your abandoned cart email sequence? Check out this video that clarifies the “Why” behind all these shenanigans

Did you know that up to 75% of your customers could be abandoning their cart before purchase? In today’s online marketplace it is common for people to browse a site, place items they are interested in, into their cart, and then before putting in their card info and hitting the buy button they leave.

Now you may be thinking…. Well if they didn’t purchase my product they aren’t going to anyways. This is your pride talking. He’s like that little devil on your shoulder who is going to get you into more trouble than help. STOP LISTENING! The truth is just because someone doesn’t purchase the first time they visit your site or the first time they put something in their cart doesn’t disqualify them as a buyer.

I’m as guilty of this as anyone. I am one of those people to the extreme. I typically have dozens of things in my Amazon cart that I haven’t purchased yet. That’s not to say that I don’t go back later and end up purchasing some of those items. It’s actually quite annoying sometimes. When I need to re-order that one item and I have to save everything in my cart for later. The issue is I completely forget about most of them.

The trend for today’s modern buyers is that they are becoming “late buyers” more often than not. This means that people probably aren’t going to purchase from your site the first time they visit. Don’t fret though, I’m going to tell you how to combat some of that mindset.

No, you’re not doing anything wrong. It’s just the nature of the beast. So what do we do to fix this?

It’s not broke! We don’t need to fix it! We just have to adapt our mindset to understand our customers and help them remember what made them add that item(s) to their cart in the first place.

Here is the trick… send each and every person who abandons their cart a series of personalized emails reminding them what they left in their cart, asking if they have any questions about those items, showing them complimentary items to increase the perceived value, and thanking them for their interest.

I know what your thinking.

“Will, I don’t have time for all that!”

Hang tight! After all, this is an automation blog!

I’m going to tell you how to write this email sequence one time. (Here) After writing this email sequence one time, we are going to set up an automation so that anyone who abandons their cart gets added to this automation.

Now, we don’t want them to keep getting those emails if they actually purchase the items so, we’re going to set up a goal so that they exit the automation the moment they hit the buy button. We also don’t want them in the automation multiple times at once, so we are going to set a filter, so that the same person can only enter the automation once every thirty days.

Sounds complicated right? It’s actually not that bad I promise. I’m going to walk you through it step-by-step, click-by-click so that you understand how everything works in ActiveCampaign. (It’s the same principle in any marketing automation software we just prefer ActiveCampaign.)

Then I’m going to take it a step further! I’m going to share the template with you to use inside your ActiveCampaign account which will save you even more time. If you are NOT an ActiveCampaign user (you should be), no worries, I am going to give you a wireframe that will save you time as well.

The goal here is to give gentle reminders that nudge that potential buyer into the paying customer category, without making them feel pressured. The ultimate experience here is when your customer feels like you helped them buy something, not that they were “SOLD” something.

Ok, lets dive into it! Or if you are a visual learner and would rather watch the video you can do that here.

Or, If you are just starting out and don’t even know where to start we have an article on that too. Just click here.

Step by Step Automated Evergreen Abandoned Cart ActiveCampaign Tutorial

Step 1: Enable site tracking.

Go to your settings in ActiveCampaign and turn on “site tracking” under the tracking sub-menu. Then, before you leave you’ll see a block of code text. Highlight all the text and save it to your clipboard.

Head on over to your website builder, wherever that may be, and paste the tracking code you just grabbed into the header or footer of your cart/checkout and confirmation or thank you pages. (If you don’t know how to, try Googling: how to add tracking code to “your site/cart builder”) At this point, make sure to write down or copy and paste the URL’s of both of these pages. We’ll need them in a minute.

Done. See that wasn’t so hard.

Step 2: Add your tags and custom fields that will be used in the automation.

For this step we are going to head over to the lists tab on the left-hand menu and then select manage fields. From this screen on the top right we’re going to select add field. In the pop-up, enter “Abandoned Cart Count”. This is going to track how many times a contact has been through the abandoned cart automation for a cool bonus tip at the end.

For field type we are going to select “text input” since the other options don’t make sense.

Now repeat the process and add an “Abandoned Cart Date” field but this time in the field type use the dropdown to select “date”.

Now to add the tags we are going to go to the Contacts tab on the left-hand menu. Then, Manage Tags and in the input box near the middle left of your screen you need to insert the following tag names:

“Action_AbandonedCart”

“Action_Purchased”

“Action_YourCartPlatform_Purchased”

Be sure to separate by commas or one per line.

These tags can be customized to specific products if you’d like. The first tag is a manual tag that we would be adding to a contact on the active campaign side whereas the latter is a tag that would be passed from your cart platform such as Thrive Cart. If you’re having a hard time wrapping your head around lists, tags, custom fields or all of the above check out my video on the subject here to clear it up.

Great we’ve done all the legwork now it is time to dive into the automation itself.

Step 3: Build your automation.

Go to the Automations tab and select build new automation in the top right-hand corner. Then select,”start from scratch” and continue. (There are a couple abandoned cart recipes if you want to mess around with them, but I’m not a fan)

Then we’ll have to choose the automation trigger (what happens to make the automation start.) In this case we want someone to enter this automation whenever they have visited your checkout page but not made it to an order confirmation or thank you page.
So, we are going to choose the trigger “Web Page Visited”. On the next pop up we’re going to paste in the URL from your cart page and select multiple times. (In this case we want contacts to be able to enter this automation more than one time if they return and abandon the cart again months later)

Next we’re going to hit the little plus button just under “1 time” and another condition line will appear. Make sure this line is set to “AND” has not visited URL (your Thank-you page URL from earlier). That’s it.

Click the Done box in the bottom right corner.
(I also go over a second set of triggers if you’re using a cart software that will add the tags for you in the video)

Our trigger is set. On the pop-up we need to select an action. In this case we want to give the contact time to either purchase or abandon the cart page, so we are going to conditions and workflow, wait, and then a specific period of time. I find that 1 hour works well, but you can play around with this.

Stop!!!

In the top right-hand corner you need to name your automation (something like Abandoned Cart) just click on the automation name, and you can rename it whatever you like. (Hint: Try to be specific as you may end up with hundreds of automations on down the road, and you’ll want to be able to search for it easily.)

To add the next step in the automation hit the plus button below the wait step and the action box will pop up again. Next, add a tag to the contact showing that they are in the abandoned cart automation. For this we’re going to click on Contact on the left of the pop-up then “Add a Tag”. The tag we are adding here is one of the Tags we added in Step 2. Simply type in “Action_AbandonedCart”.

Then click the lowest plus button again, choose “Workflow”, and “Perform Math” towards the bottom. This is how we are going to track how many times someone has abandoned their cart for the bonus later. Use the first drop down to select the custom field “Abandoned Cart Count”. Select “Add” in the second box and place a “1” in the third box. This step now adds 1 to this field every time a contact makes it this far in the automation.

Hit that little plus button again. (We’re going to do this for every step) Here we are going to update the “Abandoned Cart Date” field that we added. Again, select “Contact” and “Update Contact”. In the first drop down select “Abandoned Cart Date”, and “Current Time” in the second drop down. This allows us to look at a contacts card and see the last time they were in the cart.

Next we need to set up our first email to send after someone abandons their cart. For this, click that little plus button, then “Sending Options”, and yep you guessed it, “Send an Email”.

Now I don’t typically write the emails as I’m building out an automation. I simply create an email placeholder that I can go back to later and put the email in (as that is another process in itself which I’ll cover in a follow-up video). Now click on “Create an Email” in blue and name your email. My personal preference when it comes to naming your emails is to use timeframes based off an action such as “One Hour After Abandoned Cart”. Others like to use the email subject line or a combination of the two. Click Continue and you’ll enter the email builder. To skip this step your going to click “Save and Exit” in the top right corner which will create your email placeholder and bring you back to the automation screen. From here you’ll need to click “Save”one more time.

For the sake of time I’m going to skip forward a little here. You’re going to repeat the previous actions adding another wait period followed by a second email, one last wait period and either an email or text message (I cover text’s in the video). If your not sure how long your waits should be, a good starting point is 1 day and then 1 week later. This can timeframe can vary widely depending on your customer base and knowing if they are more “impulse buyers” or “late buyers”. You can always adjust these wait steps and number of touchpoints to suite your business.

Now, for one of the last steps in the automation we need to build in some “Exit Logic”. This is going to allow contacts to jump out of the automation if they purchase at any point. It will also allow us to track how many conversions this abandoned cart automation led to. For this we need to add another step under the workflow section selecting “Goal”.

In the pop-up you need to name this goal and for this example we are going to type the name “Purchased”. Below the name, click on “Click to Add Goal” in blue to add conditions. For the first trigger of this Goal we’re going to choose Tag in the first dropdown, exists in the second drop down, and “Action_Purchased”(or whatever you named your purchase tag in the beginning) if your cart software tags the customer, or you set up an additional tagging automation, then we are going to add a second condition by hitting the plus button on the right of the pop-up, choose “Or” contact, has visited, “Your-Cart-Thank-you-Page” URL, in order to use the site tracking we set up earlier in case the contact uses a different email to purchase.

The last thing to do on the goal pop-up is to choose the goal, in this example, choose “Below the Contacts Position” and if goals not met “Continue Anyways”.

Finally, before this automation ends we want to add a step to remove the tag “Action_AbandonedCart” to indicate that they are no longer in this automation and then End the automation.

To do this, add a step, by hitting the plus button again, under “Contact”, select “Remove a Tag” and choose the tag from the drop-down. Then choose the final step under “Conditions and Workflow”followed by “End this Automation”.

That’s It!

Still not sure about what, why or how to write your abandoned cart email sequence? Check out this video that clarifies the “Why” behind all these shenanigans)

You’re done, if you made it this far, thank you for following along. I truly hope this was helpful.

If you missed the links to the automation earlier here they are again.

Trebl Digital | Bonus: Abandoned Cart objection discovery call touchpoint! |

Here is the slick bonus I kept mentioning in The Tip Tuesday’s Abandoned Cart Post.

You can also see this in the video I made showing you how to do this step by step. (Hint: the bonus material is at the end of the video)

Once you have your abandoned cart email set up with emails in place (Learn how to write them here), Exit logic in and everything is done, here is a little trick I like to deploy in order to balance human touch with the automation, deliver outstanding customer service, and close more sales that were potentially lost opportunities.

(You will need to have your Google account integrated with ActiveCampaign to do this.)

After your goal and tags are removed, you’ll need to add an “If/Else Statement” to split the automation. To do this simply click the little plus button below your remove tag step and under “Conditions and Workflow” select if/else statement. Here you’re going to choose “has not visited” and enter your thank-you page URL. Then, (this is where the custom field Abandoned Cart Count comes in), add another condition “AND”, “Abandoned Cart Count”, “Is equal to or greater than”, “5”. (You can choose a different number if you’d like.)

What this does, is split your contacts that have abandoned their cart 5 or more times down the “Yes” path. This allows you to then add another step to record these contacts on a Google sheet.

To do this, select the plus button below the “Yes” path and add a step under “CX APPs”, select “add row to google sheet”. You will follow the prompts to map how this information will be added to the sheet. I usually go with Name, Email, Abandoned cart count and phone number along with any other pertinent info you’ve collected on that contact.

Then you can add an “End Automation” step on the “Yes” path as well as the “No” path.

Now, you may be asking “Ok? What was the point of that Will?”

Great Question! This nifty little trick can be used in countless ways with ActiveCampaign. In this example this gives you the business owner the ability to look in one place and see very hot leads that may have an objection. With this Google sheet, you or one of your sales team can reach out with a personalized email (not automated), to…

Learn about your hottest leads objections are (which can be invaluable information in itself)

Build that human relationship and earn their trust.

Deliver an unprecedented customer experience….who else do you know that does this?

Hopefully, nurture that lead to overcoming the objection and close another sale.

This tactic, though typically overlooked, can be a game changer when it comes to capitalizing on otherwise lost opportunities and increasing revenue. You or your sales team can then record those objections for future improvement, manually tag that contact and even further their amazing customer experience with more automations.

Trebl Digital | Front and Center |

I know this is supposed to be a blog about automation, but sometimes we need to remember the “Why?” behind what we do. Automation just for the sake of automation doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. If you read my article about where to start with automating your business I explain the process and questions you should ask before automating anything. So if you haven’t read it yet, you can hop on over there now by clicking here. Regardless, once you have decided to start automating certain aspects of your business you need to think about the “Why?” behind that automation.

Ask yourself what the benefit of automating that process is and what problem it solves. In this case we are going to look at one of the most overlooked tactics in marketing. It is also one of the simplest. Keep your name in front of your customer.

The subtle psychological influence of someone seeing your brand everywhere they look can’t be underestimated.

One of my favorite examples of this comes from the 2015 movie “Focus” starring Will Smith. The basic premise is that he and his team unknowingly put a number in front of his target all day in inconspicuous places. From numbers on an elevator to advertisements on the side of a passing bus. Then, when it comes time for the big bet he seemingly predicts the number his target will choose from an entirely packed football stadium. The point is that by keeping that one number front and center the targets focus was unknowingly drawn to that number.

So how does this explain the “Why?” behind automation? Bear with me, I’m getting there I promise. So, to complete this marketing tactic you now know that you must keep your name in front of your potential customers. How you do this is the problem. This is where the “Why?” comes in. Who has time to post your brand on a consistent basis on 5 or more social media sites, send emails out on your customers birthday’s, holidays, and their company “anniversary” date? Who has time to do all this, on top of periodic newsletters to build your brand and have your brand advertisements show up through SEO? This is your why. You have two options. You can hire people to manually do all these tasks, or you can save time and headache and automate the majority of it so that you can publish content in one place, and it automatically disperses to all your chosen social media platforms. Automate your advertisements so that you can post to one media platform and that trigger ads on all chosen media platforms.

The moral of the story is you need to consistently be in front of your customers eyes. Front and Center in their mind and your brand will become immediately recognizable and associated with a solution when needed. Automation is just a tool to help you accomplish this simple yet intimidating task.
I hear it every day. Yeah, Will, automation sounds great but I don’t even know where to start with my business.

Well let’s do a little exercise, and by the time we are done you will know exactly where to start, how to get there, and gain some resources to help you along the way.

I know you’ve heard the saying “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes” right? Well today you’re going to walk a mile with your customers glasses on.

Step 1.

Take a Look at your customers journey through their eyes. Think of the entire sales process from the point where they don’t even know you or your brand exists, to the point they have converted into a paying customer (the most forgotten part of the customer journey), and to the moment in time when they are screaming from the mountaintops that everyone should buy from you.

Take a look at this journey through their eyes and write down every step of the way. Write down what happens or in some cases what should happen. Write down every touch point and every time you want that contact to interact with your brand. Now hold on to that list.

Step 2.

I want you to take off those glasses and put on your business glasses. Now, think about what goes into making each one of those steps on your list happen and write that down on a corresponding list. This list should contain every contact, every touch point, every document received. Everything the customer gets from Facebook messages and welcome emails, to deliverables and confirmation. From confirmation to receipt, to thank you letter, and follow-up survey. What happens? What is the process that has to happen to make that customers journey complete.

Step 3:

Now take those glasses off and put the glasses of your coworkers, your sales team, your support team and everyone in between. Think about the same customer journey what processes have to happen along the way to make these things work behind the scenes. What are the puzzle pieces that are missing from your first two lists. Where’s the glue that’s going to hold it all together? Got it written down? Ok, let’s move on to the fun part.

A popular slogan by Active Campaign is “process before software” and it holds true for every aspect of business. You have to think about and analyze the process first. In order to make well-informed decisions about how to proceed. (You would be amazed at how many people get this far in the exercise and figure out that they need to work on the process before they can even think about automation)

Step 4.

Alright. You’ve got the process nailed down and based off of that you can figure out which software you’re going to use to engineer the most elegant solution possible my favorite is Active Campaign paired with Integromat, but there are many more. (More on this in another article coming soon)

Step 5.

You have made your lists, and checked them twice. It’s time to move on. Time to build some automations into your process.

At this point, most people want to build one big automation that “hopefully” covers the whole process. This is NOT what you are going to do. I repeat, you are NOT going to build one big, complicated ginormous automation. You are NOT even going to build 3 or 4. You ARE going to take individual steps from the lists we made, like pieces of a puzzle you are going to create your very own automation puzzle. The complexity of your processes are going to determine how many puzzle pieces you will have.

Take The simplest tasks on the list and ask yourself…

Does it make sense to automate this?

What is the benefit of automating this?

What is the consequence of automating this?

Step 6.

Lastly, analyze these three questions and determine how to automate this step, wash rinse and repeat making sure to test each automation extensively before adding more.

This is the foundation of Trebl Digital’s process and if you’re still struggling or just don’t want to take the time or energy to figure it out we’ll be glad to help you. No matter how big or small the project, whether you want to learn how or just want us to do it for you, we have the solution.

So, next time we talk, I don’t want to hear that you don’t know where to start. I’m even going to include a list of the most popular tools we use on a daily basis below. (Yes, we are affiliates, but we only “affiliate” ourselves with the best of the best in our opinion)

Lastly, if you hear of anyone else that “just doesn’t know where to start with automation ”, share this blog with them, like and follow us on social media where we’ll be posting valuable tips and tricks regularly. Introduce us and we’ll be forever grateful.

Until next time. Enjoy your time, life’s too short not to.
